Blueberry Lemonade Recipe

Another lemonade stand success!
Blueberry Lemonade
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 7 minutes

Ingredients:

6 cups water

1/2 cane sugar (granulated works too)

1 cup blueberries

3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice, about 1-2 lemons (trust me when I say bottled lemon juice doesn’t do the trick…)
Directions:

Toss sugar and 1 cup water in saucepan over medium heat, stir until sugar dissolves.

Add blueberries & bring to a boil for 2-3 minutes, until the blueberries are gently exploding (highly recommend setting a timer).

Remove from heat.

Strain syrup mix through a fine sieve or cheesecloth, let it cool down.

In pitcher, mix together blueberry syrup (you should get about 1 c of syrup), lemon juice and 5 cups of water. Let it chill in the fridge.

Serve with ice & blueberries, enjoy.
